Graduated with full marks at the University of Milan with a dissertation in International Law ("The EU Directive on electronic commerce", supervisor Prof. Riccardo Luzzatto, co-supervisor Dr. Virginia Greco Scribani), Lara Giussani began her professional activity in 2002 at the Rucellai and Raffaelli Law Firm in Milan, specifically in the Labour Law department of Avv. Andrea Vischi, partner since 1997, with a particular focus on agency law, commercial distribution contracts, and litigation.
Afterwards, she worked for many years at the Milan office of FVF Law Firm, mainly working in the litigation area. She operated within personal, family, and inheritance law. She dealt with contracts and disputes related to real estate, focusing in particular on lease and condominium law, and in the private contracts sector; she also took part in extrajudicial and judicial credit recovery activities. Moreover, she was involved in disputes related to compensation for damages from contractual and extra-contractual liabilities.
During her professional activity, she has gained specific and significant expertise, including advisory experience, with a particular focus on family and inheritance law. This includes matters related to separations and divorces, more uxorio cohabitations, filiation, support administration and voluntary jurisdiction, changes in civil status and adoptions (both of minors and adults). She also delved into personal and financial relationships between spouses and cohabitants, with or without children, maintenance obligations and liabilities for debts among relatives. Her proficiency extends to both consensual and litigious separation and divorce, as well as modifications to separation and divorce conditions.
