Graduated in Law with full marks at the University of Milan with a final thesis on Trust (Trust and Legal Protection of the Legitimate Heirs – Supervisor professor Maria Jabes Moretti, Assistant Supervisor Vera Tagliaferri), Valentina Rucco has developed a first professional experience at the Cumberland Ellis LLP law firm in London, in the Family Law department.
Afterwards, she worked as an intern at Molengraaf Institute for International and Comparative Private Law – CEFL, at the Utrecht University in the Netherlands, where she was involved in researching activity with reference to the implementation of Brussels II and Brussels II bis Regulations in the European Union, with the aim to create a juridical database.
She joined the law firm in September 2008, and in November 2011 she has been admitted to the Italian Bar. She primarily provides advice in civil law and commercial law areas, with a focus on bankruptcy and banking law, especially NPL and UTP, aiding corporates, entrepreneurs, public administration, and individuals.
During her professional career, she also gained significant expertise in real-estate law and contract law, advising clients on international and domestic matters.
Recently, she has attended specialized courses in Corporate Law and Fashion Law held by the University of Milan.
